Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We collaborate with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide cutting-edge cardiovascular services.
Responsibilities
This Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist position requires individuals who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a focus on patient safety and satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and operating imaging equipment during cardiovascular procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient conditions to provide optimal care.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment throughout each procedure.
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, fostering a professional working relationship with physicians and leadership.
- Participating in the orientation of new staff, ensuring seamless integration into our team.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess certifications in Radiologic Technology and Cardiovascular Technology, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment. A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is preferred, with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting also advantageous.
