Job Summary:
- Prepares equipment for procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Provides patient care and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Maintains professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment during procedures.
- Provides patient care and prepares patients for procedures.
- Collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Utilizes downtime effectively by completing delegated tasks.
- Participates in orientation of new staff members.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
