Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist prepares and assists in cardiovascular procedures, maintains a sterile environment, and provides patient care. They collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists while serving as a mentor for new hires and radiology students.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms and checking equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
