This role includes preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have a relevant radiologic technology background, certification, and must maintain required training in life support.
Salary
$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
Job Description
This position involves serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff, and utilizing downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for collaborating with physicians to deliver excellent patient care. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is preferred. One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is also preferred. Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire is also necessary.
