CV Rad Technologist Job Description
- Procedure Support: Provides support during cardiovascular procedures, including preparing and checking equipment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and providing patient care.
- Sterile Environment Maintenance: Establishes and maintains a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Patient Education: Educates patients on their treatment options and provides emotional support throughout the procedure.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education and Certification: Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
- Experience: Previous procedural area experience preferred, but not required.
