Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and care. This role involves maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and students.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a cath lab, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
