Job Summary
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources Division by assisting with key HR initiatives related to data management, communications, stakeholder engagement, and event support. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations while contributing to meaningful projects that support the organization’s mission.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
HR Data & Reporting Support:
- Assist with data organization and cleanup along with validation tasks to maintain accurate employee records.
- Support the development and modifications of HR surveys by working with HR leadership to craft survey questions that align with our strategic goals.
- Assist in analyzing results and presenting key insights for leadership review.
- Support the development of new HR communication plans by tracking employee questions and feedback to refine HR messaging
- Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and materials for HR initiatives.
- Support HR process documentation and standardization efforts.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement events (e.g., Service Awards, Retiree Luncheon).
- Support planning for HR training initiatives and compliance programs.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, IO Psychology or a related field.
- No prior professional experience is required, but previous volunteer or project experience in a related field is beneficial.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with HR technology (Power BI, survey tools) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for learning and exploring different HR functions.
- Evidence of a mature and growing Christian Walk characterized, by Paul, in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
