POSITION: Crisis Intervention Specialist - Behavioral Health
HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm - Rotating On-Call
Position Overview:
- Completes assessments of clients in crisis within ED of local hospitals to determine appropriate level of care
- Completes de-escalation of clients with acute symptoms
- Screens and evaluates clients for higher level of care
- Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients deflected from ED
- Completes referrals for follow up from ED or to inpatient psych facilities
- Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Service Field or LPN/RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in like field with 2 years’ work experience in a Behavioral Health setting
- High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in clinical role in a behavioral health setting
