The Opportunity:

The Manager of Youth Clinical Services is a licensed mental health professional that works with the youth behavioral health hospital and youth crisis stabilization programs.

Duties include overseeing the clinical programming and the clinical practice of staff and ensuring appropriate treatment standards per regulation, policy, and procedure to ensure quality care and treatment of clients. The manager will work directly with other clinical and program services managers to ensure coordination of care and services among the Behavioral Health Acute Care Services Programs, other NCHC programs, and community partners. The Manager clinically supervises the Youth Inpatient Hospital and Youth Stabilization program mental health clinicians, oversees programming, and provides program and service education for program staff. The Manager will work directly with other clinical and program services managers to ensure coordination of care and services.

The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000, based on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Routinely collaborates and coordinates with the operational and nursing managers to ensure seamless delivery of services utilizing shared staff and resources, with clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Oversees program clinical staff performance, including documentation and client interactions to ensure quality of inpatient and stabilization clinical and transitions of care.
  • Coaches and guides model mental health clinical practice in the integration of new evidence into practice.
  • Arranges, participates, facilitates, and ensures clinical supervision per program regulations and NCHC quality of care practices and the documentation clinical supervision provided.
  • Collaborates and consults with treatment providers and community referral sources, focusing on multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
  • Acts as an integral member of the Aute care services management team, collaborates with the Acute Care Service and clinical managers, and other NCHC program leadership and services providers.
  • Provides immediate support in on-site crisis situations.
  • Coordinates with ACS leadership team on employee training and continuing education. and continuing education. Reviews department clinical policies and procedures and updates. Participates in ongoing quality assurance review activities.
  • Participates in ongoing quality assurance review activities including chart audits.
  • Implements and enforces all regulatory standards, requirements and guidelines, including federal, state and local regulations, and licensing boards and accreditation authorities.
  • Adheres to scheduled work hours with regular and predictable attendance.
  • Participates in the Acute Care Services on-call rotation with other Acute Care clinical managers for clinical consultation and jail suicide watch consultation on pre-scheduled days/nights.
  • Oversees the day- to- day clinical operations of the youth behavioral health hospital and youth crisis stabilization programs.
  • Sets clinical performance expectations in detail, provides feedback, and maintains individual accountability of employees through performance evaluations, outcome measuring, and the development of performance improvement plans, when necessary, in conjunction with the operations and nursing managers

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in specialty field in Human Services (Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology), earned from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • State of Wisconsin Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist or Licensed Psychologist
  • Ability to provide patient centered and trauma informed care.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making skills.
  • Preferred one to three years of relevant experience.

  • The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,00 based on education and experience.
  • This job is full-time and in person.
