The Newport City Elementary School within the North Country Supervisory Union is seeking a Special Education teacher committed to creating and supporting an inclusive environment for students in grades Pre-K through 6, while also providing targeted specialized instruction and supports within the areas of identified need.
The ideal candidate would possess strong collaborative skills, have experience delivering remedial instruction in math, reading, and written expression, and maintain data collection systems for academic and behavioral progress monitoring. Candidates should also demonstrate strong case management skills and knowledge of special education law and procedures.

Salary and Benefits for all positions: As per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement. Must have or be eligible for appropriate Vermont licensure.
