What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandising and Procurement Specialist position at North Dakota Parks and Recreation?
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Business Services team. This position will maximize the business operations and profitability of our online, physical retail and concession operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the wholesaling, merchandising, and retailing of products and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to enhance visitor experiences across North Dakota's parks. This position will conduct research utilizing current markup and pricing models and recommend pricing strategies. You will also Identify new products to offer and control product life cycle, Additionally, this position will be responsible for facilitating the procurement of materials, equipment, and public improvements for the agency. Overnight travel is required along with the ability to flex time to accommodate for occasional evening and weekend work.
