This is a temporary position with no paid benefits.*
All internships are paid full-time summer of 2025 positions.
Summary of Work
This internship will provide quality experience with reading and understanding NDDOT plans, specifications, and standard drawings while assisting with routine maintenance, repair, and installation of signs, guardrail, other safety devices, signals and lighting. Applicants will have the opportunity to gain experience in NDDOT District Sign Shop and traffic control operations.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be enrolled in an engineering technology or any engineering or graduate degree program.
• Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
• Possession of a valid Class D Drivers License for travel within the state of North Dakota.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process, successful completion of a job function screening and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
