Summary of Work
Hiring Salary range - $3,645 - $4,585
Central office location is Bismarck, working remotely from any North Dakota location. Some travel will be required.

Assist in the administration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the Community Development Block Grant – CARES Funds (CDBG-CV).
Duties and Tasks
1. Grant Management Responsibilities
A. Provide technical assistance to CDBG and CDBG-CV grantees with program administration issues, review requests for funds and review and monitor grantee progress.
B. Review and process CDBG applications and make recommendations on grant awards, amendments, and supplemental funding requests.
C. Provide technical assistance as a primary contact for CDBG project and program questions to all grantees.
2. Monitoring Responsibilities
A. Perform on-site and file monitoring of CDBG and CDBG-CV projects and provide technical assistance to address grant administration issues or monitoring concerns.
3. Reporting Responsibilities
A. Maintain databases for grant reporting purposes.
B. Assist in the preparation of annual reports for submission to Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
C. Assist program manager and division directors with requests for information.
4. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education – Minimum of a two-year Associate degree.
- Experience – Six months to two years of similar or related experience required.
