Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective facilities management strategies
* Oversee the maintenance, care, and appearance of all NEKCA properties
* Manage inventory of fixed assets, including real estate, vehicles, and equipment
* Develop a replacement schedule for fixed assets, vehicles, and equipment
* Coordinate with contractors for major facility renovation or construction projects
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all NEKCA properties meet safety and regulatory standards, as well as maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain good relations with stakeholders, staff, and community members.
