What are the responsibilities and job description for the Police Records Clerk position at North Richland Hills City Hall?

Position Description

The purpose of this position is to ensure smooth and continuing functioning of department operations. This is accomplished by providing numerous administrative and support services for the department personnel. Additional duties include but are not limited to data entry and auditing of all reports, answering telephones, providing customer service, scanning paperwork and facilitating jail releases, operating a variety of computer and office equipment and interacting with other city employees, citizens, and employees of other Government agencies. This position does not provide direction to other employees.

Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave

The city offers vacation and sick leave, as well as ten paid holidays. Full time employees earn two weeks of vacation during their first year of employment and 10 hours of sick leave a month.



What We're Looking For

Police Records Clerk
  • High School Diploma or equivalency. Six months to one year of customer service experience. Type 35 wpm corrected. Valid Class C Drivers License with good driving record.

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
