Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the President of Chernin Entertainment. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, and the utmost discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
As a producer deeply immersed in the entertainment industry, the President frequently attends theater and industry events. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of New York’s entertainment, dining, and cultural landscape, excelling at securing coveted reservations, gaining access to exclusive events, and leveraging top-tier city services to ensure seamless coordination between professional and personal commitments.

This position is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an ever-changing schedule, ensuring seamless coordination of meetings, travel, and high-profile events across multiple time zones.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the President and internal stakeholders, and external contacts, including talent, agents, executives, and business partners.
- Screen calls, manage correspondence, and serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile business and personal expenses in a timely and organized manner.
- Organize materials, prepare agendas, and track action items to ensure execution on key initiatives.
- Secure tickets, handle VIP seating requests, and oversee logistics for screenings, premieres, and industry functions.
- Arrange sought-after dining reservations, coordinate personal appointments, and facilitate access to top-tier experiences.
- Assist with special projects and anticipate challenges, proactively managing solutions to maintain workflow.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a high-level executive, preferably within the entertainment industry.
- Strong knowledge of New York’s dining, hospitality, and cultural scene, with the ability to secure exclusive reservations, event access, and premium services.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience coordinating high-profile entertainment and cultural events, including handling VIP logistics.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage both professional and personal responsibilities seamlessly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical proficiency, including expertise in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and scheduling/travel platforms.
At Chernin Entertainment, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure guidelines, the base salary for this role falls within the Executive Assistant III - IV compensation band between $90,000 – 120,000 per year. The final offer amount will consider a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience relevant to the job.
