MCCC Faculty position
Campus Location: Lynn, Danvers
SALARY: Anticipated starting salary is $57,013.00 - $60,000.00. Actual salary will be commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the MCCC/MTA collective bargaining agreement. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Division of Liberal Studies invites applications for the following anticipated full-time faculty vacancy for the Fall 2025 semester. The position requires teaching classes both at our main campus locations (Danvers and Lynn) and also at various High School locations in accordance with our Early College High School Program. Assigned courses may include but are not limited to:
- SPE102 Speech
- MDA107 Introduction to Digital Media Literacy
- MDA110 Film and Popular Culture
- CMP120 Composition 2: Writing About Media

Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in the content field with graduate-level credit in subject areas required. (Note: MAT and M.Ed are not considered content degrees).
- Experience scaffolding rigorous academic content for both high school and college students.
- Teaching experience at the College level (additional HS experience is a plus).
- The ability to teach in a range of modalities.
- College Service (advising, standing meetings, committee assignments, etc.) is required of the position.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI background check as a condition of employment at both the college and the respective high school.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency and ability to teach in both Spanish and English is preferred but not required.
