The district seeks teachers to facilitate a STEM-based experience for our Title I. Join us this summer to provide an exciting and engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) experience for our Title I Summer Programming! We are thrilled to announce that we will be partnering with the National Inventor's Hall of Fame to deliver a unique and inspiring program aimed at sparking imagination, innovation, and confidence in our students.
Our goal is to provide students with an enriching and memorable experience that will ignite their passion for learning and discovery.
Job Summary
Student Attendance: 15 Attendance Days
Staff Hours: 7:45 am - 12:15 pm
Student Hours: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Qualifications
Instructional hours will be compensated at a rate of $50.00 per hour. For a total of 52.5 instructional hours, the total payment will be $2,625.00.
Planning hours will be compensated at a rate of $42.50 per hour. For a total of 27 planning hours, the total payment will be $1,080.00.
A grand total of $3,705.00
Rate is in accordance to the NSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Application Procedure: District employees must complete an online internal application. All internal applicants who meet the required qualifications will be interviewed. Interviews will be conducted by April 4, 2025. All candidates will be notified by April 15, 2025.

- Facilitate hands-on challenges and open-ended exploration of science and engineering concepts.
- Lead students through confidence-boosting modules designed to foster creativity and critical thinking.
- Incorporate experimentation and mathematical concepts, including financial literacy, into program activities.
- Guide students in developing creative skills related to launching a business, branding, marketing, and debate.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
