The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) is responsible for overseeing contract deliverables, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with performance standards are maintained. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills to ensure project milestones are met within budget, scope, and schedule. The DPM will work closely with government representatives and internal stakeholders to implement process improvements, track performance metrics, and coordinate program activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all aspects of contract performance, ensuring the execution of key tasks and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project timelines, risk assessments, and performance metrics to track contract success
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership for improving operational efficiency
- Develop and present progress reports, risk assessments, and program briefings to senior leadership
- Oversee Quality Control (QC) plans, ensuring deliverables meet performance and compliance standards
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, personnel meetings, and contract-related events
- Ensure all contractual requirements, timelines, and reporting guidelines are adhered to
- Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation to optimize contract performance
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization in HR services and administrative support functions
- Bachelor’s degree in program management or a related field
- 3 years of experience in program management similar in nature to the contract requirements
- Experience with government contracts, performance management, and compliance tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, program tracking tools, and data analysis software
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Must be able to obtain a favorable FBI fingerprint card check and initiate a Tier 1 or equivalent investigation
- Standard core hours: 0730-1630, Monday-Friday, with availability for emergency situations as required
- Travel may be required to various locations in support of the contract
- Telework may be authorized with Government approval
