Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual passionate about digital content creation, with a strong focus on scripting, scheduling, and managing short-form video production, podcasts, interviews, and other motion-based content. You will play a critical role in producing engaging media while ensuring seamless communication with clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
1. Content Creation and Management
- Script, plan, and oversee the production of short-form videos, podcasts, and interviews.
- Coordinate the editing and post-production process to deliver high-quality, on-brand content.
- Stay updated on trends in digital media and contribute innovative ideas for content formats and storytelling.
2. Client and Executive Collaboration
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining professional relationships and ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Work closely with executives to understand strategic objectives and translate them into effective communication materials.
- Join field shoots and client meetings to provide creative and logistical support.
3. Project Organization and Coordination
- Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress to ensure efficient workflow.
- Serve as the central hub for project organization, identifying priorities, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with videographers, designers, editors, and other team members to align creative visions and ensure project success.
- Coordinate resources and timelines across departments to streamline the production process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital content creation, including video production and podcast management.
- Strong organizational skills with a knack for project management and task delegation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling scripts and briefs.
- Comfort with client-facing roles and collaborating directly with executives.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple projects and priorities.
- Familiarity with digital media tools and platforms is a plus (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, podcast editing software).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
