Description
The Program Manager provides leadership, supervision, training, and administrative/ operational oversight for the assigned Engagement Specialists and the Administrative Assistant. The Program Manager evaluates and develops means of enhancing program performance and client engagement, and ensures that staff is engaging with clients to understand how they can be connected to necessary resources such as housing, healthcare and/or mental health and addiction recovery treatment; and directly connect them with those resources.
The Program Manager will be required to work both on site and in the community in order to provide the support necessary to assure desired program outcomes. This role requires proactive multitasking and coordination. Additionally, this role requires an understanding of the needs and support necessary to be an effective engagement specialist, the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners, and the ability to foster teamwork and communication within nontraditional work environments. The Program Manager must embrace Northeast Treatment Centers’ commitment to client focused treatment and culture of respect, peer support, and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Commitment to help individuals facing homelessness, mental health, and substance use challenges.
- Familiarity with community resources in Philadelphia and nearby areas. -
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 12 months of supervisory or volunteer experience, or at least 24 college credits in the last three years
- Experience in coordinating services and providing education on wellness.
- Able to use technology for accessing resources and documentation.
- Reliable transportation to reach community sites as needed. -
- Strong people skills and understanding of different cultures.
**Training and Development:**
- Complete 25 hours of training each year, including 10 hours on HIV, STDs, and TB and 6 hours on Confidentiality and Mental Health First Aid.
- Get certified in American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) level of care within 45 days of hiring.
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
