JOB SUMMARY
This position provides technical accounting support, parkingduties, and administrative support for parking services operations.
MAJOR DUTIES
Issues parking permits to students, faculty and staff; collects related fees.
Responds to inquiries regarding parking policies, procedures and fees.
Coordinates citation payment arrangements; edits and enters parking registration and citation information into computerized database; records payments; processes and reconciles end-of-day reports.
Assists with the uploading of hand-held ticket-writers to the database; combines and merges data for reports.
Composes and supervises the preparation of correspondence.
Maintains files and fiscal documents.
Receives funds, prepares deposits, reconciles bank statements, and prepares vouchers.
Scans and indexes parking permits.
Maintains decal citation inventory; maintains hand-held devices.
Updates Parking Services website.
Assists with traffic control at campus events.
May perform enforcement of parking policies and shuttle duties as needed
Performs related duties.

COMPLEXITY / SCOPE OF WORK
The work consists of related technical duties. The need for accuracy contributes to the complexity of the position.
The purpose of this position is to provide technical accounting support for parking services operations as well as other duties as assigned. Success in this position contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of those operations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, or walking. The employee frequently lifts light and occasionally heavy objects, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, distinguishes between shades of color, and utilizes the sense of smell.
The work is typically performed in an office and outdoors, occasionally in cold or inclement weather. The work requires the use of specialized parking related equipment.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
Ability to maintain regular attendance.
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education.
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship / internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
Annual salary $25,536.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time
