Overview
We are seeking dedicated EMT-Basic professionals to join our team. As an EMT-Basic, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured
- Assess the nature of the patient's condition and manage emergencies following standard protocols
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities
- Communicate with dispatchers and healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care
- Maintain accurate patient care documentation and records
Experience
- Prior experience in emergency medicine or an emergency room setting is preferred
- Proficiency in administering injections and performing venipuncture
- Knowledge of physiology, vital signs, and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- Experience in critical care transport is a plus
