Sales Operation manager

Northern Sales Company, a well-established business with over 60 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Sales Operations Manager to join our team in Fairbanks, AK. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring smooth sales operations and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and team members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sales plans, managing inventory, and overseeing route drivers and merchandisers. Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with the Area Manager, route staff, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with store personnel.
• Execute sales plans and set up incremental sales displays to boost sales performance.
• Ensure daily placement of signage and store tags.
• Oversee and support Route Drivers and Merchandisers, including coordinating freight receiving and product delivery.
• Merchandise store shelves, coolers, and displays; manage product rotation and removal of unsalable items.
• Order products and manage in-store inventory levels to minimize out-of-stocks and returns.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in sales, delivery, or warehouse distribution preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of non-CDL box truck operations and willingness to learn federal, state, and local regulations.
• Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and sound judgment in all situations.
• Current driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Must be at least 23 years old due to insurance requirements.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.

Compensation

Starting Salary: $62,400 annually ($30/hour), plus sales bonus program.
