Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, including lawn care, gardening, and hardscaping. This position involves working with various hand and power tools to create and maintain beautiful landscapes for our clients. The Landscape Technician will also be responsible for snow plowing during winter months, ensuring that properties are safe and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Build hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls as needed.
- Maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper care and upkeep.
- Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties clear of snow and ice.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet client expectations.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and basic mechanical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, gardening techniques, and hardscape installation is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
