What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Fleet Manager/BDC Service Representative position at Northway Toyota?
Northway Toyota, part of the Albany Auto Group (which includes Audi Albany and BMW of South Albany), is seeking a full-time Rental Fleet Manager/BDC Rep for our Latham dealership!
You will manage our rental fleet by tracking rental vehicles, preparing vehicles ensuring they are clean and ready for the customer to use. Ensure rental contracts are completed with the customer and gather the required documentation from customer. Follow company policy on retiring rentals and substituting with new vehicles, ensuring new vehicles are appropriately outfitted for rental (license plates, registration, video camera). Assist Service Department with setting service appointments from incoming calls and reaching out to customers to initiate service appointments.
You should possess a High School diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience, preferably in an auto dealership. You should also possess excellent customer service with good attention to detail as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with CDK or another automotive software package preferred.
