Northwest Fireplace & Chimney is looking for a go-getter Customer Service Rep to join our fun and exciting team. For over ten years, Northwest Fireplace & Chimney has been providing excellent customer service and craftsmanship to our customers in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties. We put our customers first and know that our customers deserve the best--that's what we deliver.
The ideal candidate will engage with customers on behalf of our company and provide education on services available to them. Excellent customer service skills are necessary to support our customers. This person will also support our owner, office manager and purchaser as needed in a well-organized and timely manner. You must have a strong desire to learn and ability to adapt to new situations, as well as maintain consistent communication with other team members regarding all aspects of customer appointments and projects. Previous experience in the chimney industry is not required, but is a plus. We will train the right individual in all aspects of the position.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to go above and beyond when assisting customers
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- 1-2 years proven customer service and office experience wanted but not required
- Adept with computer skills and Mac products
- Available to work Monday - Friday and occasional Saturdays.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Taking customer calls, asking appropriate questions necessary to recommend the best possible services to our customers. Complete the same for website leads.
- Confirm all customer appointments.
- Schedule appointments while being mindful of logistical challenges.
- Record customer payments and issue updated invoices to customers
- In person customer service in regards to our showroom
All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background check and drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
