What are the responsibilities and job description for the Organic Farmhand Position position at NORWESTA?
Norwesta is a small, self-sustaining family farm seeking an experienced and flexible individual to assist with various farm tasks.
Responsibilities will vary seasonally and daily, requiring adaptability and a willingness to perform manual labor for any task from seeding to harvest. Facility maintenance may also be required on occasion.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience with organic/sustainable farming methods, simple construction and repair of farm buildings and fencing, and repair and maintenance of farm tools and machinery.
Additionally, they should be comfortable working around chickens, horses, and livestock guardian dogs.
We require excellent verbal communication skills in English.
