What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Custodian position at Notre Dame Regional High School?
Notre Dame Regional High School is seeking a dedicated individual to join our maintenance team. The maintenance/custodian is responsible for the daily, repairs, routine maintenance, and cleaning. This position is a full-time position that includes some after-hours work for special events.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must complete background check and certification.
- Demonstrated work history reflecting stability and reliability
- Ability to work around dust and cleaning chemicals
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment such as scrubbing machines, high speed buffers, and carpet extractor
- Ability to move heavy items (desks, file cabinets, recycle bins) and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations
- Ability to work from stepladders up to 14 feet with or without accommodations
- Ability to perform various repairs
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure
- Ability to follow written & verbal instructions & perform duties with minimal supervision
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, and climb frequently and for extended periods of time while performing job duties
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
