Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including geriatrics and trauma care, and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, medical knowledge, and the ability to foster a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social interaction and mental well-being.
- Monitor clients’ health by observing changes in their condition and reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during caregiving.
- Collaborate with family members, healthcare providers, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as PICU, geriatrics, or emergency medicine is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
- Familiarity with clinic settings or inpatient care environments is advantageous.
- Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as monitoring vital signs or assisting with mobility aids.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
