What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR GENERALIST position at Novipax?
RESPONSIBILITES / DUTIES:
Human Resources:
- Point of contact for Corporate and Paxinos Human Resources questions, escalating as necessary
- Support strategic recruitment processes including proactive sourcing and building talent pipelines
- Working with the Director, Human Resources, will work to align HR practices across the entire Novipax network
- Project Manager for projects related to streamlining HR efficiencies – examples include Tobacco Free Workplace by 2023, Going Paperless in 2022, 80% Covid Inoculation Goal
- Produces the monthly employee newsletter
- Provides project support and prepare ad hoc reports, as needed.
Community Relations and Social Governance:
- Serves as liaison between Novipax and our local communities
- Builds relationships with non-profit community partners
- Develop corporate giving strategy to maximize impact of donations and alignment with business priorities.
- Develop and implement plan to enhance volunteer programs and community engagement across Novipax locations.
- Implement method to track employee volunteer hours for reporting purposes, as well as to enhance employee engagement.
Social Media:
- Oversee the strategy and day-to-day execution for our social channels including content development and curation, promotion, and measurement; facilitate continual innovation and optimization as it relates to talent attraction and employer branding
- Actively seek out new social media outlets to continue to develop employer branding and reach new applicants
- Create engagement and conversation with followers to develop and communicate Novipax culture in an effort to convert followers to applicants
Company Culture:
- Ensure culture reflects Novipax’s mission, vision, and values through proactive employee relations and management coaching.
- Implement integral people operations services specific to: employee resource planning and organizational development, performance management, employee relations, training, and development
- Coach and support people leaders in providing feedback, documenting performance outcomes and employee development as needed and/or necessary corrective actions.
- Works closely with employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Identify employee and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement training programs accordingly.
- Develop internship program.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook | Teams | Word | Excel | PowerPoint | Visio
- Certification of PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred
