NOVO Shift Leader
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Leader to join our dynamic team at NOVO L.L.C. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a seamless shift flow, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Youll lead by example, supporting your team, solving problems, and keeping the store running smoothly while always acting in the best interest of the store and company. Responsibilities
Shift Oversight : Ensure smooth shift flow by assigning tasks, managing breaks, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient store environment. Act as the eyes and ears of the store, collaborating with the Regional Manager to address store needs.Team Leadership : Assign cleaning tasks to staff, assist where needed, and participate alongside the team to maintain a spotless kitchen, cashier station, dining area, and overall building. Participate in the tip pool as part of the team.Customer Experience : Address employee and customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring every interaction reflects NOVOs commitment to excellence.Problem Solving : Tackle operational or interpersonal challenges as they arise, always thinking proactively to protect the stores and companys best interests.Inventory Assistance : Assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and coordinating with management for restocking needs.Operational Support : Step in wherever neededwhether assisting at the cashier station, supporting the kitchen, or tackling additional cleaning tasksto keep operations running seamlessly.Safety & Compliance : Adhere to and enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines. Obtain a valid Food Handlers Certificate within the first 30 days and maintain a valid Food Protection Manager Certificate.AI Utilization : Leverage basic AI tools (NOVO currently uses Grok) to streamline tasks and improve efficiency as directed by management.Promotions & Engagement : Promote menu items, loyalty programs, and specials to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.Requirements
Experience : Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or leadership role is required. Knowledge of cash handling and inventory management is a plus.Skills :Leadership : Ability to guide a team, assign tasks, and foster a collaborative environment.
Communication : Strong verbal skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.Efficiency : Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards.Problem Solving : Quick thinking and resourceful in addressing challenges.Attention to Detail : Precision in overseeing transactions, inventory, and cleanliness standards.Physical Stamina : Able to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical tasks (e.g., cleaning, lifting supplies).Education : High school diploma or equivalent.Certifications : Must obtain a valid Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire AND possess or obtain a valid Food Protection Manager Certificate .Tech Savvy : Basic understanding of AI tools (e.g., Grok) for operational support.Language : English (Required).Additional Information
Compensation : Starting pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, based on experience and performance.
