The Position
The Training Partner's main purpose is to ensure and support optimal implementation and use of the Novo Nordisk training systems and standards at Novo Nordisk US Bio. Production, Inc. (NNUSBPI). The Training Partner continuously improves and maintains the Biopharm and PS Training Standards for NNUSBPI by developing and delivering quality training programs and services to all functional areas and will provide reports on the effectiveness of the training, and taking action when necessary to maintain the effectiveness.
Essential Functions
- Define strategy and goals for training at NNUSBPI based on Biopharm Training Strategy
- Provide communication to Line of Business regarding training requirements
- Provide guidance and training for NNUSBPI keeping in compliance with the Biopharm Training SOP
- Ensure compliance requirements regarding training are communicated to manager and Sr. Management team
- Ensure training initiatives across NN/PS are communicated at NNUSBPI
- Establish and drive network of training supporters at NNUSPBI to enable knowledge sharing and improvement of the training system
- Train and coach the Training Supporters how they support their department in implementation and sustainability of the training system
- Support Training Supporters in development of a robust training system with clear roles and responsibilities
- Contribute to an environment where Best Practice is shared
- Provide guidance and insights into training
- Implementation of Novo Nordisk and PS training system
- Develop the training structure in Biopharm
- Develop and improve training activities and methods
- Ensure standardized and effective training by implementing the Operational Training Standard (OTS)
- Provide and facilitate courses in training and PS operational training tools including certification of the 4P trainers
- Perform process confirmation and assessments on use of training system in departments
- Participate in training group and networks across Product Supply
- Contribute actively in training group activities with other Training Partners, TS network, local training groups, PS P&O etc.
- Deliver and monitor training at the shop floor level
- Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes
- Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required. While performing this job employee work involves sitting most of the time with walking and standing required only occasionally. This position may lift up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication. Must be able to meet requirements for entry to shop floor.
Qualifications
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Master’s preferred
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience, 5 years in a GMP environment
- Experience in pharmaceutical production and working with quality and GMP
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, training and being trainer
- Experience in implementing training programs
- Experience in LEAN and continuous improvement
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of compliance requirements to training
- Demonstrated success in networking and developing relationships
- Proven ability to collaborate across boundaries and inspire and motivate colleagues
