How You'll Perform The Role
As an HR Coordinator for Novolex, the successful candidate will provide support to the Human Resources Manager and the Human Resources Department in our Carrollton, TX location.

How You'll Perform The Role
As an HR Coordinator for Novolex, the successful candidate will provide support to the Human Resources Manager and the Human Resources Department in our Carrollton, TX location.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and assist walk in guests and employees.
- Recruit employees for all hourly positions.
- Welcome and onboard new hires.
- Complete assigned reporting functions involving attendance statistics, turnover ratios, termination, hire and transfer data, and other information assigned.
- Provide recommendations regarding the development and administration of human resource policies and programs.
- Handle inquiries for unemployment from the Employment Security Department.
- Correspond with the ESD on unemployment claims, tracks all unemployment claims and hearing statistics.
- Assist in informing new employees of Human Resource policies and programs as needed.
- Perform general office support functions and assists area personnel as necessary.
- Participates in GMP and food safety training. Follows GMP policy. Reports all food safety concerns with urgency.
- At least one year of related experience in a Human Resource position.
- Basic understanding of Human Resource functions and record keeping requirements.
- General knowledge of E-Verify, FMLA, ADAAA, and state laws.
