Nation Security is seeking motivated and professional Security Officers to join our team! We have immediate positions available for unarmed Security Officers with experience working with children and/or in a school environment. Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and protection of the school's students, staff, visitors, and property.
- Patrol the school premises and monitor surveillance equipment.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Permit entry and ensure proper identification procedures.
- Respond to alarms and obtain help in emergencies.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
- Protect against any trespassers when necessary.
- Maintain a secure environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
Requirements:
- Valid Security Officer class D license issued by the State of Florida.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work shifts, including holidays.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ownership of a smartphone.
- Ability to pass a background check with no felony convictions.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 10-12 hour shifts.
