Account Executive

This position requires a minimum of 3 Years of Experience in Window & Door Sales & the ability to read Blueprints.

The Account Executive at NSE Windows will be responsible for managing the sales process with a diverse range of clients, including contractors, developers, and homeowners. With in-depth knowledge of construction and expertise in windows and doors, the Consultant will provide tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client. This role involves in-home and on-site consultations, delivering comprehensive product recommendations and coordinating installation services.

Essential Job Functions

  • Engage with contractors, developers, and homeowners to assess their project needs and recommend the best window and door solutions from our Marvin product line.
  • Conduct in-home or on-site consultations to understand the scope of work and requirements.
  • Provide expertise on product options, installation details, and energy efficiency considerations.
  • Generate and follow up on leads, maintaining consistent communication with all potential clients.
  • Travel throughout the market area (Nassau & Suffolk County) to meet with customers and conduct sales presentations.
  • Measure windows and doors accurately to ensure precise ordering and seamless installation.
  • Enter all sales orders into our CRM system and manage project documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and homeowners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing sales, product, and technical training to stay updated on industry trends and construction best practices.
  • Negotiate contracts and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Active within industry associations & networking groups

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of construction practices, particularly related to window and door installations.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical information to contractors, developers, and homeowners in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse client groups.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Motivated, professional, and dedicated to delivering high-quality service and solutions.

Required Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on windows and doors and the construction industry.
  • In-depth product knowledge and experience in project-based sales, working with contractors, developers, and homeowners.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, understand building codes, and provide technical advice on installation.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license with the required level of automobile insurance.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with reliable transportation to and from appointments.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to drive, walk, talk, see, and hear. The position involves both on-site consultations and administrative work, ensuring a dynamic and engaging environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
