Job Summary:
Looking for an accomplished self-motivated and self-starter to join our great team as a Talent Attraction Events Specialist (aka, Recruiting Coordinator) to work as part of an integrated team to deliver internal customer satisfaction and an outstanding candidate experience. This is an onsite position located out of our Manassas, VA location. You must be proactive, detailed oriented, skilled in MS 365 applications and databases. You must have strong oral and written communications skills and above all, you must be dependable. As a member of the TA team, you will provide a wide range of talent acquisition related activities in support of and in collaboration with TA. This role is essential to our success and reputation in that you will interact with candidates, external parties, and colleagues throughout the TA process to attract and hire excellent talent to meet our business commitments. The position reports to the Sr. Recruitment Manager.
Job Duties:
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of Job related career events and relationship building with existing and new contacts as required.
- Posting and Managing Job Postings using our ATS, Search Sites, Associations, Trade Schools, etc.
- Ensuring accurate Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Data and TA Documents and Files.
- Scheduling and facilitating Interviews (Phone, On-Line, and On-Site).
- Generate offer letters and initiate background and drug tests.
- Assisting with compiling information for reports and weekly reviews.
- Help to ensure consistent policies, practices, procedures are adhered to throughout the TA process.
Experience and Education:
- Experience: 2 years’ experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator or early career events planning specialist.
Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred not required
- Very strong administrative skills.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or databases.
- Must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and organization skills to achieve team objectives.
- Must Be Dependable, Self-Driven, Proactive, and a Team-Player.
Competencies/ Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 365, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and team player attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the set schedule.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
