Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for developing a strong company culture, managing employee relations, performance leadership, compensation events, succession planning, employee engagement, and retention. This role requires 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in unionized work environments, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies to enhance employee experience and drive business results.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to design and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy.
- Support the Talent Acquisition Team in attracting top talent and driving recruitment initiatives.
- Manage employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Key Competencies and Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in HR required.
- Experience working in unionized work environments preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/HR/Marketing or related field and PHR/SHRM Certifications preferred.
