What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at NTS Development Company?
The Service Manager oversees the overall appearance and maintenance needs of our apartment community. As a leader, this position will collaborate with the Property Manager.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years multi-family property maintenance experience, HVAC certification, strong leadership skills, effective financial skills, demonstrated organizational and computer skills, and adequate communication skills to deliver excellent customer service.
The Service Manager must maintain the overall curb appeal; supervise the maintenance staff; coordinate make-readies and move ins/move out schedules; perform general maintenance repairs; conduct preventative maintenance and oversee the construction/rehabilitation needs of the apartment community. Duties also include managing or performing: general punch requirements, snow removal, equipment upkeep, and basic service requests such as: cutting keys, replacing light bulbs/light kits, unclogging toilets, garbage disposal installation/repair, basic water heater repair, basic cleaning and resident services that mirror punch responsibilities. More advanced skills to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and repair pools, plumbing, appliance, electrical, and carpentry needs of the property.
Qualified candidates should be self-motivated with a basic understanding of R & M budget and be able to effectively manage the inventory and expense control.
Compensation based on experience. Position available immediately. On call duty and occasional Saturday work schedules are to be expected
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
