Job Summary:

The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative and financial operations, ensuring compliance with Wisconsin's DHS 83 regulations.

This role encompasses managing accounting functions, human resources administration, and maintaining accurate records to support the delivery of high-quality care to residents.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and payments.​
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as required.​
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures to align with financial goals.​
  • Human Resources Administration:
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for new employees.​
  • Maintain employee records, including training documentation as mandated by DHS 83.​
  • Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with employment laws.​
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure the facility adheres to DHS 83 standards and other applicable regulations.​
  • Maintain and organize records for inspections and audits.​
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting facility operations.​
  • Office Management:
  • Supervise administrative staff and manage daily office operations.​
  • Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and supplies.​
  • Implement and maintain organized filing systems for resident and employee records.​
  • Resident Relations:
  • Handle inquiries from residents and families regarding billing and administrative matters.​
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is protected.​

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in office management, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.​
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin DHS 83 regulations governing CBRF
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.​
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.​

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer work.​
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies and files, up to 25 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
