We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Brand Agent in Charge within our cannabis dispensary. As the Brand Agent in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in marketing our brand at the dispensary level, implementing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales. You will lead a team of budtenders and support staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cannabis products, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding industry standards.

Brand Responsibilities:
- Ensure signage aligns with marketing guidelines.
- Maintain and update product and promotional displays as needed or required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all promotions and effectively communicate them to all team members.
- Oversee the management of daily/weekly deals and messaging on sandwich board displays/TV, as well as the availability and utilization of “Share the Love” review cards.
- Assist in increasing external reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, Leafly, and Weedmaps.
- Identify external marketing partnerships and outlets, explore opportunities for tabling and sponsorship, and handle the distribution of postcards, flyers, and promotional items.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to increase social media followers for the dispensary’s accounts, contribute to content creation, and capture photos and videos of staff, interior, exterior, products, displays, and specific marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate Pop-up Vendor Days, handle requests from brands and cultivators for in-store marketing materials and ensure the availability of merchandise and promotional items for events and promotions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, acting as a knowledgeable and approachable resource.
- Answer questions and provide information about cannabis products, making recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, and desired effects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Understand the differences between various strains (indica, sativa, hybrid) and their effects; educate customers on proper dosage and consumption methods.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Train staff on compliance procedures, including age verification and product handling.
- Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate records of product quantities; monitor product quality and report any issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock and ensure a diverse product selection; ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
- Complete and submit required reports and documentation in accordance with State and company regulations.
- Collaborate with management and marketing teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of budtenders to deliver outstanding customer service; foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee growth.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary.
- Additional duties as assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in cannabis is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Ability to handle responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Must be 21 years of age and ability to pass State required background qualifications.
