People Operations Responsibilities:
- Partnering with the General Manager, ensure onboarding is complete for new hires.
- Facilitate and ensure all required additional training is completed and documented yearly, which includes distributing training plans and materials, assigning training schedules, and partners.
- Coordinate with General Manager to ensure team members renew their agent badges prior to the expiration date.
- Manage and respond to reviews on Social Media platforms, serving as the primary contact for location-based reviews and directly addressing reviews on these platforms; ensure all Help Scout inquiries are addressed daily.
- Effectively communicate and uphold the company's customer experience initiatives while keeping the team informed about the top and bottom product sellers from the previous week.
- Provide daily coaching and instruction to the team on product knowledge and selling techniques, aiming to enhance their performance and establish a weekly focus on both products and the customer experience.
- Ensure that incidents, up to and including customer service issues, are appropriately documented and followed up on.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, acting as a knowledgeable and approachable resource.
- Answer questions and provide information about cannabis products, making recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, and desired effects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Understand the differences between various strains (indica, sativa, hybrid) and their effects; educate customers on proper dosage and consumption methods.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Train staff on compliance procedures, including age verification and product handling.
- Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate records of product quantities; monitor product quality and report any issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock and ensure a diverse product selection; ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
- Complete and submit required reports and documentation in accordance with State and company regulations.
- Collaborate with management and marketing teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of budtenders to deliver outstanding customer service; foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee growth.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in cannabis is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays is required without exception.
- Ability to handle responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Must be 21 years of age and ability to pass State required background qualifications.
