This patented technology (70 patents) has applications across multiple verticals in food and beverage (e.g., nootropics, energy stimulants, vitamins, probiotics, protein, etc.).
Founded in 2019, the company brought together a team of CPG leaders, cancer researchers, US attorneys, and nutritionists to overcome long-standing challenges in the Food and Beverage Industry. The firm’s founder has extensive experience in the development of nanocarriers for cancer therapeutics.
In the past-year, Nulixir sales have grown ~8x with strong interest from small, mid-size and many large CPG companies to partner with Nulixir and incorporate the technology in their products. Nulixir boasts an impressive board of senior executives from companies like Pepsi, Danone, Mckinsey & Company, Paine Schwartz Partners, etc. The company currently has 30 employees with a stellar executive team who come from food B2B companies such as ADM, Givaudan, Kerry, and ex-MBB consultants.
Position Overview :
As we continue to empower our workforce, we are seeking a Head of Human Resources who will take on the unique role of being a Performance Coach and Ethical Advisor. This role requires an exceptional individual who can guide our employees to manage stress, make better decisions, enhance their performance, and navigate complex ethical challenges.
The Head of Human Resources will not only lead HR initiatives but also play a central role in enhancing employee performance, promoting ethical decision-making, and fostering positive interpersonal dynamics. This role demands an exceptional leader with a deep understanding of human psychology, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams through meaningful coaching and guidance. In this role, you will directly report to the CEO.
In this critically important role, you will be responsible for :
- CEO's Right Hand : Act as the CEO's strategic partner in all HR matters. Comprehend his vision for the Company and be an extension of that vision for the rest of the team. Collaborate closely to make informed decisions on hiring, employee management, and addressing HR-related concerns.
- Performance Coaching : Provide expert performance coaching to employees at all levels, helping them manage stress, enhance decision-making, and optimize their overall performance
- Ethical Advisor : Serve as a moral compass within the company, offering guidance and support to employees as they navigate ethical dilemmas and challenging decisions
- Psychological Insight : Leverage your understanding of human psychology and behavior to read, influence, and effectively manage employee interactions. Handle interpersonal conflicts and negotiations using your insights to broker deals and mitigate tensions
- Motivational Speaker : Deliver motivational speeches and pep talks to inspire and uplift employees, fostering a culture of enthusiasm, dedication, and continuous improvement
- Employee Development : Develop and implement employee development programs that align with the company's values and mission. Create initiatives that promote growth, skill enhancement, and career progression
- Leadership Collaboration : Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with company goals, ensuring that performance coaching and ethical advisement are integrated into the company's strategic framework
- Conflict Resolution : Serve as a mediator in conflicts, utilizing your understanding of human behavior to de-escalate tensions, encourage effective communication, and promote positive resolutions
- Empowerment and Engagement : Empower employees to take ownership of their career development, performance improvement, and ethical decision-making through coaching, mentorship, and guidance
- Continuous Improvement : Continuously assess and improve performance coaching strategies, ethical advisement practices, and employee development initiatives based on feedback, industry trends, and evolving organizational needs
