Human Resource Manager
The Human Resource Manager (HRM) is responsible for performing HR-related duties in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law compliance.

Job Duties:
- Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
- Responds to employee relations issues.
- Monitors the performance evaluation program.
- Communicates benefits information to employees.
- Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill job openings.
- Conducts new hire orientations.
- Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
- Responsible for auditing employee personnel files, keeping them current.
- Maintains working relationship with union officials and terms of labor contract.
- Reports, maintains and monitors Workers' Compensation, LOA, FMLA cases. Processes unemployment claims - attends unemployment hearings, if needed.
- Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- 2 years’ experience in Healthcare (Long Term Care Preferred).
