We are currently looking for a VP Business Services Operations. We are currently looking for a VP Business Services Operations. In this role you'll lead Business Services Loan Operations and Business Systems Analyst teams for the Credit Union to ensure quality, accuracy, controls, compliance, and mitigate transactional risk while supporting excellent member service. You'll provide leadership of teams to establish metrics and ensure timely and accurate pre-funding due diligence, loan documentation, portfolio management, post-funding file reviews, loan processing and boarding. You'll collaborate with Lending, and Underwriting teams, to evaluate, recommend, and implement procedures to support quality, well-structured and profitable commercial loan portfolio in alignment with lending policy, target markets, regulation, and sound risk and quality controls.

To thrive in this role, you should have eight to ten years of similar or related commercial lending and management experience and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field. This position is equal parts attention to detail, and sound judgement. This might be the role for you if you enjoy working in a role requiring high level decision making, problem solving and development and lending acumen.

Key skills and experience:

• Strong proficiency with core systems for financial institution and LaserPro (or equivalent commercial loan documentation system). Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation, including perfecting both UCC and real estate security interests, and of regulations relevant to commercial lending operations (i.e. BSA, FIRREA, HMDA).

• Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives, promoting both efficiencies and sound risk management, through systems, process development, and project management.

• Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.

• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization.

• Strong performance management and leadership skills to provide advisory services to external departments and manage direct reporting staff effectively.

• Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential.

• Must have in-depth understanding of and ability to manage multiple business units and generate both immediate and long-term results.

• Experienced in Microsoft technologies to include Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365.
