Position Overview:
Nutritional Resources, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive sales growth, build strong client relationships, and promote our diverse range of food products to distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food manufacturing industry, exceptional sales skills, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry events, publications, and announcements. Track individual contributors and their accomplishments to stay ahead of market changes.
- Locate and pursue new business opportunities within the food manufacturing sector to expand the client base and increase market share.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to develop strategies for capturing new business opportunities.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
- Develop and communicate the unique benefits and features of NRI’s food products, showcasing their advantages over competitors.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, market insights, and client feedback to management.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making by sharing actionable insights and market data.
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials (in collaboration with the CFO).
- Develop negotiation strategies by understanding the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations. Review potential risks, customer's needs, goals, and position NRI for successful deal outcomes.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protect NRI’s value, integrity, and proprietary information by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining professional networks.
- Enhance the organization’s reputation by taking ownership of new and different requests. Explore opportunities to add value to the organization’s offerings and operations.
- Lead, guide, and train staff and interns performing related work; participate in the recruitment of new hires.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Job Requirements
· Must be able to read and speak English.
· A minimum of 3 years of sales experience preferred.
· College degree preferred.
· Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the food manufacturing or related industry.
· Strong understanding of the food manufacturing process, industry standards, and market trends.
· Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a results-oriented approach.
· Ability to travel as needed to meet clients, set up and attend industry events.
