JOB TITLE: Sales and Customer Support Specialist

REPORTS TO: Merchant Sales Account Manager

JOB PURPOSE : To assist in the growth of Acumen Connections, Inc. by mining areas for business opportunities then cold calling to set up appointments for outside sales team. Also, handling inbound call traffic and resolving service inquiries. We are looking for an organized individual who is motivated to build their own success within an established business. Acumen Connections, Inc. is a payment process facilitator that has been serving merchants in Wichita, KS and throughout the country for over 20 years. The person hired for this role would be working closely with the sales department and handling customer support. We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to help move our business forward.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve all outstanding customer support matters with urgency.
  • 200 Prospecting calls 25 follow up calls weekly (minimum).
  • CRM Enhancements: Scoping and submitting all report requests or enhancements to network admin.
  • Sending Reports: Weekly Prospecting Report and all other reports should be sent according to an agreed schedule.
  • Sales Support: Creating outbound call lists for CRM, QA on outbound calls, prospecting support.
  • Weekly skills development training, content as assigned or agreed upon.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with cold-calling required.
  • History of sales experience required.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
  • Experience using CRM software preferred.
  • Organized, efficient, quick at completing tasks.
  • Ability to work with basic technology, such as, a computer and/or smart device, etc.
  • Ability to adjust sales pitch based on information learned from the potential opportunity.
  • Successful at multi-tasking with the ability to take notes while on the phone.
  • Outgoing and positive person who can persevere through challenges.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to draft professional email communications.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor on the phone.
