Chimney Sweep

NVA Home Services is a residential maintenance company operating in Northern Virginia and we are offering a single position for long term employment.

What we do:

- Gutter cleaning (must have ample experience on roofs)

- Dryer vent cleaning (no experience necessary)

- Chimney inspections and cleaning (must have ample experience and knowledge)

- Pressure washing (no experience necessary)

We are looking for extensive experience with chimneys and safety/efficiency with gutter cleaning. We would be happy to train the right candidate in dryer vent cleaning and pressure washing.

The right candidate for us:

- Speaks fluent English

- Is not a felon

- Has a good driving record

- Has plenty experience with ladders, roofs, and safety protocols

- Is positive, good with people, and well groomed

- Is highly motivated, a self-starter, and reliable

- Does not smoke tobacco products

What we are offering the right candidate:

- $30-$35 per hour ($62,000-$72,800 a year before commission)

- Generous commission on sales

What this position entails:

- Inspecting and cleaning fireplaces, photographing damage and/or safety violations

- Cleaning and providing video inspections of dryer vent ducts

- Cleaning gutters and photographing issues found on roofs

- Pressure washing during the summer (it is all done from the ground)
