Position Summary:
As the Vice President of Sales, you will be accountable for shaping and executing innovative sales strategies that enhance our market presence and boost revenue. Your leadership will strengthen vital retailer relationships while driving a high-performing sales team towards achieving ambitious business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a robust B2B sales strategy targeting major retailers to expand revenue and gain market share.
- Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with key buyers and category managers within our partner retailers.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and competitive insights to maintain a leading edge in the retail space.
- Optimize pricing, product placement, and promotional initiatives in alignment with retailer requirements.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Expand our portfolio by nurturing existing retail accounts while acquiring new business within the mass retail sector.
- Negotiate competitive contracts, terms, and trade agreements with retail partners.
- Analyze sales performance metrics to derive actionable insights that enhance revenue streams.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain, to ensure effective implementation of sales initiatives.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Partner with finance, operations, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Create forecasting models to maintain optimal inventory levels and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15 years of sales management experience, preferably in the home textile and kitchen goods industry.
- Proven track record of scaling sales and driving substantial business growth across mass-market and e-commerce channels.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with key retail stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading sales teams and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and product development teams.
- Strategic thinker with robust analytical skills, emphasizing data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with launching and growing brands in major retail environments, particularly Target and Walmart.
- A hands-on leader who balances strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
