Job Summary:

NXG is seeking a meticulous Telecommunications In-Building Data Collection Specialist to support our telecommunications engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to optimize in-building telecommunications systems, including RF data, signal strength, and system performance metrics. This role is crucial to ensure robust communication infrastructures such as DAS and Small Cells within buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-building site surveys to collect RF data, signal strength, and other performance metrics.
- Analyze collected data to evaluate coverage, capacity, and performance of wireless communication systems.
- Collaborate with RF engineers to optimize network designs for DAS and Small Cell systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by using RF tools and software for measurement and validation.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation based on data analysis to guide system improvements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in existing telecommunication systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support the deployment and maintenance of wireless infrastructure.
- Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in telecommunications data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency with RF measurement tools and software (e.g., TEMS, iBwave, or similar).
- Strong understanding of wireless communication systems, including DAS, Small Cells, LTE, 5G.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Charlotte, NC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
